Do You Still Have Dreams with JW Scenarios ? My recent Dream- Opinions...

as some of you know i've been logging my dreams since dec. of 2010 and am up to 184 pages worth now.
some of them have been disturbing dreams dealing with jw expereiences as i was a jw from birth until age 44 when i exited 9 years ago.

I still have dreams also. Sometimes, most of the times I wake up so upset and I cannot remember much. A lot of them are about Bethel which is strange as being at Bethel was probably the best time of my life as being a JW though there were a lot of problems there I admit it was still the best time for my marriage and it was the least stressful times in the congregation as my husband was not being used so much. But then we did get mugged and there were tons of problems at Bethel its self. Life in this religion was never easy.
In my dreams Bethel becomes so dark and upsetting which I do not get because in real life its not that way. The room we lived in at Bethel had more light then the house we live in now but in my dreams it is always so very, very dark. I just cannot get the lights to turn on also in my dreams I am trapped there. In real life I was not wanted there my overseer told me that to my face they just wanted my husband and I was added baggage to them that cost them money. So I do not know what my dreams mean. I have also had dreams of the elders trying to get me into JC's sometimes they win and I have to go other times I tell them to back off or else I will sue and they do, they become afraid of me and leave me alone. Those time I wake up feeling so powerful.
I wish the dreams would stop as most of the time they are just upsetting.

Would you go running back?
by Nambo inif the tribulations started tomorrow, and all you knew of the bible was what the jws had told you, would you suddenly think, "they said this would happen, and it is, therefore they must be right", and go running back?.
or would you think, "just because eventually biblical prophiesies came to pass that "they" had read you from the bible, doesnt mean they are the chosen religion, because they get all these other doctrines wrong", and know these doctrines well enough to be able to convince yourselves.. .
replies such as "it wont happen cause its a fairy story" wont really help..

Can you list watchtower articles that claim anything from the 'faithful slave' should be taken as from jehovah himself?
by EndofMysteries injust a few wts that put to the effect anything from them should be taken as from jehovah himself and also with elders or being disfellowshipped, that it means jehovah himself is angry with them, that's it's punishment from him.

Are JCs a Nice Form of a "Breaking Session"?
by LostGeneration inin doing some research a few years back, i came across the use of "breaking session" as something used to control cult members by leadership.
initially, i dismissed this a something smaller, more extreme cults use - and dismissed it as a technique used by the jw org.

When I was 18 years old two of the most prominent elders yanked me into the back room right in front of all my girlfriends. There might have been three elders but only the two really aggressive elders stick in my mind.
The reason was because some sister from the next hall over that I did not know thought she had seen me smoking. The elders were horrible to me. I was totally guilty in their eyes and nothing I said would convince they otherwise. I asked for the second witnesses and they did not have one so they let me go.
It was beyond hell in that room. They were pointing their fingers in my face demanding that I confuses, etc.
It totally describes what you posted to a tee what happened to me that day. Then just a few weeks latter they did the same thing all over again, this time they felt they knew they had me as the sister had supposedly came back to them and told them I hid my cigarettes in my purse. I had just moved out of my very, very abusive parents home and did not have a purse as I was so poor living on nothing. I just carried a wallet and my keys.
I will never forget the head elder pointed his finger in my face and said NOW WE HAVE YOU!!!!! He said it was pure glee in his voice. I just looked at them and said I do not own a purse, my purse broke and I do not have the money to buy a new one. I have not owned a purse for almost a year.
That took the air out of them and they let me go not knowing what else to do. I will never forget how hateful they were to me. There was absolutely no love for me there butstupidly I stuck around for years and even went to Bethel after that. I was such a stupid person and a true believer.

When my husband insisted on taking the sister who had a baby under the age of one to the meetings the sister WOULD NOT PUT THE CHILD in a car seat PERIOD!!!
I still wonder why not? I mean what mom in her right mind would endanger her child like that. It was just totally crazy.
I wonder if she was hoping that we would get into an accident so she could sue us for allowing her to be so stupid. The first couple of times we took her she did have a car seat but then it disappeared and I never got a straight answer as to where it went. I offered to buy a car seat for her since she said she had no money was on welfare had been all of her life with all of her kids she had and all of them had different fathers. She got every hand out she could from the government and had always been around the truth looking for handouts from anyone who she could guilt into giving her one.
When I offered the car seat she got all upset at me telling me her child did not like and would not ride in one.
My husband and I fought and fought over it. One time on the way to picking her up a car blew through a stop sign and almost T-boned us. I was yelling at my husband that if she had been in the car even though we had not been hit the child would have went flying because my husband had to break so fast. Nothing I said made any impact on my husband. My husband was an elder and he was assigned to pick her up by the body of elders thus my husband felt it was his duty period and she being at the meetings was the most important thing in the world. My mental heath and stress as his wife did not mean as much to him as it did that this sister was at the meetings.
I told my husband that our car insurance would not cover a accident even if we were not at fault because we were breaking the law. My husband said no she was and she was the mother and so what were we supposed to do. I SAID TO NOT PICK HER UP AND LET HER RIDE WITH US!!!!!
It all fell on deaf years so I called the insurance company handed the phone to my husband and they told him they were going to drop us unless he stopped letting her ride with us.
He stopped taking her after that. but it really affected out marriage as I was just a dumb wife who worked her butt off to pioneer and I knew nothing over a welfare entitlement low life in the hall.
